WHO WE ARE
Founded in San Francisco by C.R. Spinvalo, an Italian immigrant, Royal Pasta has been operating continually since 1887. Using old world craftsmanship and new world drive, the company built its family-owned business supplying pasta to a growing customer base of retailers and restaurants. One hundred years later, Royal merged with Southern California based Angelus Macaroni Company, relocated to the Los Angeles area and was re-named Royal-Angelus Macaroni Company. Today, 125 years later, in honor of our founder the company is again known as Royal Pasta.
Royal Pasta produces a full line of classic style, artisan and organic dry pasta for our foodservice, food manufacturing and private label customers. We are small enough to provide tailored solutions and big enough to execute consistently. With traditional bronze dies, 100% Premium California Durum™ Semolina, and low temperature, slow dry capabilities, Royal can provide that authentic Artisan pasta that will set your menu apart.
